Dr. Robert Gyurko earned his DMD degree at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and his Certificate in Periodontology at Boston University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Gyurko has also received a PhD in Physiology from the University of Florida where he studied gene therapy. He is currently an associate professor in the Department of Periodontology at Tufts and a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. Dr. Gyurko’s expertise includes non-surgical and surgical treatment of gum diseases and implant placement. He has numerous scientific publications and has lectured in national and international conferences. Dr. Gyurko is an avid tennis player, a passion shared with his wife and two children.
